    What will you recommend: Sony DRU 710 A or DRU 720A
    And what media brand name do you recommend? I have Sony DRU 510 A and like to purchase the DVD Dual Layer bu rner but after review all of your comments, I am confused.

    As far as I know, both of those drives are rebadged Lite-on, so you might want to (1) Make a post over @ CDFreaks in the Liteon forum; (2) click DVD Writers on the left, look up the two SONY, and read what the comments are.

    In general, nine times out of 10, you'll be OK if you use MADE IN JAPAN media...e.g, MXL RG03, TY, etc. MCC is also good.
