Can I swap between PAL & NTSC in consecutive chapters on a DVD?

No. The spec doesn't seem to allow for mutliple formats on the one disk. Having said that DVD Lab Pro seems to allow you to set format by VTS. If you have the different formats in different titlesets, and link between them it might work. I wouldn't gurantee it would work on all players though.

You can mix PAL and NTSC on one DVDR....but with NO MENU. You may also notice a bit of audio lag(sync issue) on one of the titles. I made one with DVDShrink. The PAL main movie is title one.....and two other "animated short films" are NTSC(titles two and three).

You have created an out-of-spec DVD, which is why you have issues with sync on some titles. Like I said in my first post, it can be done, but is not within spec and may not play properly (or at all) on some players.

Okay fair enough. Thanks for replies but sounds a bit messy and too hard. I'll just author them to separate discs instead.

    Cheers.
