    Hey guys, I am using MMC 6.3 on Win98SE, when I try to do long captures with MMC 6.3 either in MPEG1 or MPEG2 the damn thing locks up and I have to reboot. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

    If you could post more details, someone might be able to help you out better.

    I would suggest two things:
    1) Close/disable any other applications during the capture (including virus scanning s/w).

    2) Disable your screen saver and power saving features.
