    hey all,

I'm looking for a good quality A/V selector that will allow me to switch between at least 4 component video sources.
I'm looking for something that is going to be well built and minimal signal loss/degredation, though I don't really think a signal amplifier is necessary. I really don't want to spend more than $100 to $150 USD.

So far, the only thing I've really been able to find is the JVC JX-S111. It doesn't look bad at all, but if any of you can either give me your comments on this unit or recommend a better one, I would be eternally grateful

    TIA!

shadow, that one doesn't do component video

    i found these 2
    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=353299&is=REG

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=292714&is=REG

under the specifications tab, the JX-66 says "30MHz" video and the JX-S111 has "10MHz" video.

what the hell does that mean??

I'm leaning towards the JX-66 simply because it's a bit cheaper and still has the same number of component inputs.

any constructive/helpful input would be appreciated
i looked up the Pelican in the other thread that was referenced, apparently it's a piece of crap

    Ahhh.....I read it wrong.

I read that as components, thinking VCR, DVD player, etc.
