I am trying to hook up a TV to my PC for viewing old photos I have made
into a file using Windows Movie Maker.
I keep getting a "Input signal too far" flashed on my screen immediately
upon bootup.
I believe I have everything connected and configured properly, and can
find no reference to this in the help or troubleshooting options.
I am using a SVIDEO out port to a COMPOSITE yellow video jumper cable (4") to my TV video in receptacle.
The total length of the cable is 4 feet.
I am using an ASUS ExTreme AX 300SE/T Video Out Card.
Help please.

svideo out to composite in ?
how about try svideo out to svideo in ?
anyway - the error maybe means you are at the wrong resolution or refresh rate ..."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
As I mentioned in my first post, I am using a 4"
adapter (converting) cable.
Converts SVIDEO out to COMPOSITE out.
I assume this is what it does, else why would they
supply it with the video card.
The TV I am using only has COMPOSITE in.
The "maybe means" answer you gave me is probably correct, but being a newbie, resolution I
understand, refresh rate?????????.
I will do more searching on this and hopefully find
an understandable (for me) explanation.
Thanks for the reply.
