I tryed using the huffy codec but that gives n absolutly HUGE file...and i want to put a 1 and a half hour movie on 2 cd's.....pls help....also the output file is jerky??? I asume this is because i am getting realy bad frame loss....the best i can get it is only lossing 1 frame per sec...but thats awfull!!!

    what am i doing wrong????

  2. If you haven't read the "How To" section on the left side of your screen, I suggest you do so now:

    http://www.vcdhelp.com/mjpeg.htm

Basically, if you want quality from a TV card capture, you'll have to put up with large files.

Lossless AVIs take up lots of space and the only way around it is (1) reduce the quality which reduces the file size, or (2) buy a hardware capture card that can capture directly to MPEG-1/2 formats on the fly.
