    I just accidently filmed in HD format instead of DV. The Pinnacle Studio will not capture HD (I don't think). How can I get this video on the computer?
    If it works, don't fix it.

    DV camcorders have HD? Cool! Does it have firewire? If so you may be able to use CapDVHS.

    Take it into pinnacle in a way other than firewire.

    If you are using Studio 8, S8 only captures in DV-AVI, just take it into the break out box, via RCA or S-Video.

    Which camcorder are you using and which HD format?
    Are you talking about a HD broadcast camera or HDV?

    Both the JVC and Sony HDV cams come with transfer software.
