  1. I have tried on this on 3 separate PC's so it appears that I am doing something wrong...

I am using DVD2AVI 1.77.4 to create a *.d2v and *.wav file...in reading the guides, it says this process should take about an hour but my all of my PC' have finished this step in about 12-15 minutes (so I am guessing this is where the problem is)...(I am creating the new format from DVD2AVI also)

    For the video settings, Using
    32-bit SSE MMX
    No Field Operation
    Color space: YUV 4:2:2
    YUV->RGB: PC Scale

When I pull the completed *.d2v file into TMPENGc, it say "File *.d2v canot open, or unsupported"

TIA for any help on this...

12-15 minutes for DVD2AVI, Save project sounds right. Can you open the d2v file in any application, like a viewer (Media Player Classic)?

  5. In DVD2AVI, did you set the color space to PC?

  6. I had this problem as well. Try using DGIndex to create the .dv2 file instead of DVD2AVI. It worked for me.

  7. Are all the DVD2AVI files in the same directory as TMPGEnc. I think that had helped me before, I don't even have a seperate dir for DVD2AVI from the TMPGEnc dir.

What version to TMPGEnc are you using?
    Cendyne/Pioneer 105 & 104 with a Dazzle* Hollywood DV-Bridge.

  8. I figured out my problem...When I open the *.vob file in DVD2AVI, I wasn't ADDINGl the *.vob files at the Opening popup.

After doing this, and saving the project, it is working now!!!

    Thanks for all the help!!!

A D2V file created from 1 VOB should work just as well.

Guys, update your dvd2avi (whatever version) to dgindex (at least 1.2.0 final, but there have been 1.3.0 betas out for a while). Dgindex has *all* of dvd2avi's bugs fixed and has had some more features added.
Sorry, I had to go see about a girl
