RM to AVI Conversion

I converted an .rm file to uncompressed .avi using the Tirna software. But the framrate of the .avi was too low, 2fps, therefore i used virtualdub:
Video-->Framerate-->change so video and audio durations match

But this hasnt worked neither. Should choose Direct Stream Copy under the video menu and save it first then compress the corrected file or can i just do the two things at the same time??I need a good method to make the video and audio match
And is there any other handy software out there that does a better job converting .rm to .avi without producing a HUGE filesize? I cant convert .rm videos that are over 20 minutes or so because they go over the 4GB per file limit.

Try converting .rm to divx first with EO VIDEO... I posted it here and a patch:
