  1. Hi All,
I have an issue backing up a dvd9-dvd5.
Now, I have decrpyted it (dvd decrypter), shrunk it ( dvd Shrink), shrunk the menus in it (menu shrink), and removed unnessecary audio tracks.
My problem is this ... I can still only get it down to about 4600meg.
This is with the minimum allowed reduction in video quality (about 51% i think)... does anyone know how to make it any smaller without me having to remove some titles from the dvd ?

    TIA

  2. Shrink it again, or reauthor movie only. Good luck.

Just run it through Shrink again. You should use deep analysis to preserve as much quality as possible. You can also make it into 2 DVs if quality is an issue.

  4. Unless you really like those menu's, remove them and all will be OK. I never copy the menu for my backups disks. I mean I have never once sat down to watch a movie back up and thought to myself:
"Dang if only I had copied those menu's this would be a more enjoyable viewing experiance!"
