  1. How are they going to "force" it?
    I don't download it, I don't get it.
    They can't force anyone to use ANY update, and they can't deny me the use of my computer if I don't get SP2.

    If you have automatic updates turned on, they will force it.

    why do someone hate sp2? I think its good with the built in adblocker plus firewall.

    I don't need a firewall, I have a router/hardware NAT firewall in place.
    I don't need adblocker.

    Nothing wrong with SP2, ESPECIALLY if it's a clean install.

    You are forgetting so other features, such as no execute, which makes it harder to get spyware and viruses.
