  1. Help please. I am very new and unexperienced here. I have just finished downloading an AVI file which in the description says its CAM DIVX AVI format. I have tried to run it through Windows Media, but to no avail. I have no pic or sound but the film length says 2:10mins.
Through Windows Explorer and clicking on properties of file, it says resolution is 352 x 144, 5 fps, 31kbs
I have also tried to run or edit it through Adobe Premiere 6, but still nothing. I am not sure if there is anything there in this file to convert or indeed how to convert it to VCD. Can anyone be so kind as to give me a helping hand here.
    Thank you Darren

you'd need the dvix codec to view the file.
    get it here: http://www.divx.com

    to convert there are HOW-TOs:
