My brother has given me his wedding DVD which only runs for about 20 mins(plenty of room left on disk). He has also given me 100 or so digital pictures and wants me to make a new DVD with the existing wedding video footage and a picture slideshow.

    Is this easily done?

How would one best go about it?

    Thanks guys.

  3. If you want to do it with freeware then...

First you have to rip the mpg off the dvd, you can use DVD decrypter to do that.
Then you can create a slideshow with DVD slideshow GUI, and export to m2v+ac3+chapterpoints.

Then you can use Gui for Dvdauthor or DVD author GUI to import the video and the slideshow and set it op with menus ect.

And the burn with your favorite dvd burner proggy.

    Have fun,

MemoriesOnTv is another solution (although it's not free and you would need the DVD Plug-in with it) once you've ripped the mpg. Just add video, slides, music, and narration.

Photo2DVD Studio has worked well for me. It is very easy to use and has a wonderful slide show.
