Hi,
I've been having a problem with DVD-Rs playing on a Zenith DVD recorder/VCR combo. It's hard to exactly describe whats happening. There is just constant "in and out" sound. It occurs every 8 seconds or so, so after a while it gets annoying. For eaxmple someone will say something ("It's a lovely day") and it will come out "It's a _____ day". You can see his lips move, and kind of tell what he's saying, but the sound cuts off.
I use a Canopus MPEG Pro to capture. I use DVD Lab to make the vobs and I use Vegas for the AC3 sound. I use Nero to burn.
I have tried with +r and -r. Same result in the Zenith.
Here is the weird thing.
The DVDs I make play fine on my other 3 DVD players in the house, a Sony a Samsung and a Toshiba.
The Zenith plays rented DVDs fine as well as DVDs made on the Zenith recorder itself.
Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction? Is this something with the way I make DVDs with my Canopus card or is it the player?
Thanks,
Mark
