    hey everyone, i currently have the basic ROXIO 5 for my comp, and to burn DVD, its dirt. so does anyone know where i can find a semi-reputable DVD burning software which is preferably FREEWARE? thanks.

    ok i have that, but how do i burn a VIDEO_TS Folder, as far as i know, DVD Decrypter can only burn ISO...

  4. If you're using DVD Shrink, you can simply choose to output as an ISO image instead of DVD VIDEO files.

  5. Roxio's ECDC5 is pretty old - it's 2 versions behind. The current ECDC is version 7.5 - and 8 is in development, from what we hear. And although it can burn to dvd media, only in straight data format. It was never modified to burn in video dvd format.

    EMC7 burns proper dvd's from video_ts folders quite well, using the "disc copier" section of the program suite.

    i found out the reason, it turns out, ROXIO wasnt bad, it was the DVD (files) i backed up. there was like an error which i wasnt aware of until i tried the DVD Decrypter way. thanks anyways.

    actually u know what, ROXIO WAS the problem. geez i am sitting there burning a DVD, and ROXIO gets to 97% and just stops! i try it again, same thing, and im wasting media on this junk software. what should i do. do i like need some FIRMWARe or something? please help, thanks
