  1. Im sure there are plenty of mac tool's for this, but im trying to do it on windows.

Im trying to create a video for my future PSP (playstation Portable). It's supports .MP4 files with a few restraints. I was going to create a divx/xvid/3ivx .AVI making sure to stay compliant. After words it would need to be remuxed to a MP4 container.

There are a few tool's out there designed for the PSP, but they are just not tech enough for me.

So any software(windows) out there that can remux a avi file to a mp4 container?

  3. Maybe it's me but this compilation of software seem's buggy.

It will complete but won't play the MP4 in quicktime. I can open it up in just about any other media player though and it will play.

Also it wants you to select a audio source, even if your source already has audio.

    Any alternatives?

Quicktime's mp4 support is somewhat limited.
You could try using mp4creator and mp4box directly.
Other alternative would be 3ivX's directshow mp4 muxer and graphedit.
