Truely a sad moment. He died of a heart attack in his sleep. His wife
is due to give birth in a few months time too
I had the privilage of seeing him live on his two last tours of Melbourne.
He was one of the funniest comedians alive, and I'd say the nicest.

Back when we first started getting BBC cancelled shows here in Canada, I couldn't wait to get my weekly dose of Dave. One of the funniest. RIP Dave.

he is an ICON.
i can remember sitting back watching ABC as a kid and laughing at the jokes i did get (yeh some of them went over my head) especially some of the roman catholic skits he did, like the priest running an SP bookie business out of the confessional.
did we ever really find out how he lost the top of his finger?

Another great man leaves. Sad news indeed.
RIP Dave.
