Is it a VCD? SVCD? AVI ? Browse the CD and tell us what files you see.

thanks for the quick reply! The files
i see are SVCD,segment,pictures,MPEG2&EXT.Is that any help? The movie is on two discs and i was wondering if i could edit it to put it on one DVD?Thanks again. -
Hmm, if your player is no capable of playing SVCDs there is probability it will be not capable to play svcd content on DVD. One option is to reencode to 352xXXX, but it is not good as SVCD is already quite compressed and you should expect some drop in quality. I would suggest to try so called "VCD header trick" - it can or cannot work, but it is worth to try I think, because there is no reencoding, quality of the video remains the same.
