I must be doing something wrong, because the results have been pretty bad. I download H264 VFW from
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/x264_Video_Codec.htm
Saved a file using the codec in VirtualDub (set H264 to the highest quality settings)
The file ends up being 3x bigger than Xvid, plus it is loaded with artifacts.
No biggie, just want to be ahead of the curve when H264 starts taking off.

Build is old and they really should stop direct linking Sharktooth's builds as he deletes them when he puts a new one up.

As far as I remember r159 quality was fine though.
Also define highest possible quality settings. Quant 0?
