  1. I made a dvd with imported dvd videos and a slideshow with an mp3 background. The audio to the videos play just fine. But when I play the slideshow, there is no audio unless I switch my dvd player to PCM audio settings. I am trying to make sure the dvd I made, plays fine on ALL players.
So I changed the mp3s to wave, and picked a template with AC3 encoding.
The new DVD now plays the slideshow music without me having to switch audio settings on my player.
But I noticed my receiver clicks on to Dolby Digital when the slideshow comes on, but clicks OFF when I play the title of the imported videos. Is there a reason why the slideshow is the only thing that got encoded to AC3? or How do I make all the audio on the DVD to become AC3?

    Sorry for the long story.

    Search Comp PM
In the EDIT step, select your video on the timeline, and click the AUDIO tab, put a check in the box next to "Convert to Disc Template" -- this will make sure the audio is converted to what you have in your project template...
