I am very interested in MPEG 2 Plug ins for Premiere. I have looked into a couple of the MPEG 2 plug ins that are listed in the 'Tools' section of this site. They look good, but the prices are too high. If anyone has a less expensive way to go, I'd love to know about it. Thanks-

I also use adobe premiere (5.0), it has a mpg2 codec as default. Why do you need a plug in? You should be able to cut and join mpg2 files with your periemere version without plugins.

Vetski:
Have you tried frameserving from Premiere (avisynth) to TMPGenc? It works well, and you get the great quality of TMPGenc. -
Help, I'm new to this site and very interested in learning how to convert AVI. into MPEG 1, or 2 or both for vcd, svcd and the like. I have Premere 5.1, but have not found a way to conert a project and burn a good quality vcd, I've been able to do a very low quality vcd by exporting the movie ( throught the export menue) but, the picture is all pixelized and does not look real good.
Any suggestion???
Thanks
