Being from the Big XII, I'm still excited about the Big XII tournament (KSU actually won, woo hoo!). Still, I'm extremely excited for March Madness.... you gotta love it!

Having watched the Big Ten all season, i'd be suprised if IL makes it. They haven't had a tough opponent all year.

I'm not saying that they can't be beat first round, techincally anything can happen, but you are a fool if you are doubting their abilities.

I'm just basing it off of what i watch. I live in Milwaukee so i watch alot of Conference USA (Marquette) and Big Ten (W). And from what I saw IL looks like a team that hasn't been tested.

If anyone can explain why MSU has been ranked in the top 15 all year i'll buy them a donut. WI is a team that can win or lose on a given day. Iowa has played IL the toughest out of anyone (Save OU's big game)
Wake Forest is a good team...but that's because of Chris Paul. Head and Brown shut him down (he still had a great game). Both teams are about guards and IL has better guards. And if they played again today i'd still pick IL. But i wouldn't pick IL over Duke, NC, AZ, or Louisville.
So given some good matchups...they could do well. But I just can't give them the credit they might deserve.

College Basketball.

And Pwyll - you sound like the same people who bashed USC in football this last year. What do they have to show for that? Oh yeah, USC won it all, that's right.

Difference here is that USC was GOOD.

And it was only one game. IL has to play 6 hard games.

And dont' get me wrong. I'm all for a Big Ten winner. If they win it i'll be happy and then we can let them get all the accolades they rightly deserve.

I just see an ACC team winning the title this year. Big east has a lot of representation too, but i think in the end NC and Duke are in the final four.

I can see NC getting in, Duke's got a good chance. I also see Okie State making a good run, or KU for that matter. Illini are in.... man I really don't know who else at this point.
