IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!

This is truly a great movie. It does a splendid job of tying the saga together. The action is spectacular. Unfortunately it wasn't longer!!!!!

I WANT MORE!!!!!

The missus went and cocked up the tickets so I have the 10am showing and the 5pm. So it looks like I am going twice.

Well I just got back.

One word disappointed, I don't know what I was expecting but the film did not deliver.

The acting was EXCEPTIONALLY wooden especially in the first half hour. Towards the last half hour you know exactly what is going to happen and that sort of spoils it as there are no more surprises.

It is without a doubt the better of the first three but is a LONG way of the par of the others.

If I had to rate the movies I will put them in this order:

1. A new Hoppe & The empire strikes back (I cannot saparate these two )
2. Revenge of the Sith
3. Return of the Jedy
4. Attack of the clones
5. The phantom menace

It was a big improvement from the previous two. And even though I could guess what was going to happened the movie was very washable.

Today I decided that I should buy the special edition DVD trilogy, just to get the Spanish soundtrack.

I also need a bigger hard disk to to recapture chapters 4 to 6 from laserdisc and remove a large chunk of the Ewoks scenes from Return of the Jedy.

At that point I’ll merge the Spanish sound track from the special edition DVD with the last laserdisc capture.

Following I plan editing The phantom menace and remove most Jar Jar aparitions, eliminate half of the underwater “big fish eats small fish” scenes and cut a big chunk of the pod races. I think I’ll also cut a bit the fight of Darth Maul with Qui-Gon.

I’m still thinking what to remove from the Attach of the clones.

So I thought I'd dig up a star wars thread

Just over a month till the dvd comes out!!!!

And Battlefront 2 will be released! That looks terrific.
