  1. Hi there!

I have been using Nero and Nerovision Express for Months now. However, recently, when I create a dvd in nerovision express, once the burning starts, it says it writes the lead in, but then it spits out the dvd disk! Before the green bar even shows progress! I then tried to write it to hard disk and burn it on the disk using nero express, but i got to like 1% before it said the burn process failed. I went to the toolkit, and it said something about my system asci being corrupted, so i chose the nero one, but same problem! Please help! Thank you very much!

Try a different program and see if you can burn. If so reinstall Nero (get the clean tool from Nero).

If no: if you have software issue (check your ASPI), if hardware... you know, brand new DVDRW...

Can you burn anything at all, files, CDs, anything? I had a drive just up and die whereit works for one disk and the nest attempt to burn a movie, it wouldn't even recognize the disk let alone burn it. Has anything changed in your PC since the last time you were succssesfull. You need to tell every sordid detail around here.

Another thing you can try is to have Nero create the files on your hard drive, then burn those to your hard drive. If you still get the error messages, then you know for sure that the problem is not your hard drive. Before I did this I was getting messages that there was not enough room on the disk, when I knew absolutely that there was. By writing to the hard drive first, then burning, this solved the problem.

  5. yeaaa i tried burning it to the hard drive first, but then when i went to burn it separately, it spit out the disk n gave me an error message.

i then tried to just burn some data on a cdr, n it worked perfectly!

i thought mebe id try creating the dvd on my hard drive with nerovision, n then burning it with a program different than nero? anyone have any recommendations on a good burning software? thanx!

  9. You could create an .ISO image file from the VIDEO_TS files with IMGTools or DVD Shrink, then burn the ISO Image with DVD Decrypter.

Since you did a successfull burn to CD, more than likely your burner's dvd laser is shot/ Happened to me.

Uninstall it and reinstall it, same deal happend to me. In fact in Nerovision Express 3 where it get's to the screen where it says ...preparing data for recording, burning video onto the disc, and completing recording session, mine didn't even have the "completing recording session" listed anymore. It would say it's transcoding then a few minutes later it would say the disc is done and it didn't burn anything. As I said before uninstall it and reinstall it, it fixed the problem for me.
