    I dumped the secondary domain name. It was no longer needed. That was a relic from long ago, when the site spanned 2-3 servers.

    It seems reasonable to me. If detailed solutions requiring a lot of thought are provided in a forum, the person asking the question isn't the only person who might benefit from the answer. I may join myself ... if I ever get over my nasty habit of just "jumping in" to a project and making a fool of myself, hehe. Of course, learning by mistakes can sometimes be more rewarding than learning by rote.

    there's no harm in asking for something in return for your services if you have the knowledge to back it up. I wish I'd started a private forum for answering people regarding computer related issues as I'd be mega rich now
