I just installed this card and it is recording from my analong camcorder in .avi with no problems (at least not as I can tell yet - I'm pretty new to all of this), but it is not recording/capturing audio.
My machine is AMd 2200+ with 256MB DDR.
I have tried recording with the bundled Ulead VideoStudio 8 and I have sound and everything during the preview while it is recording, but on playback I get nothing.![]()

Also on playback, the video is pretty jerky.
Is anyone familiar with this problem that can offer some solutions to resolve this issue?
Thanks,
Vance

Did you set the audio source as Line In?

Well, seems that if I set it to "Stereo Mix", I get sound captured with the video.
I just opened the setup option and started at the top of the list with the intentions of trying each audio setting. The "Stereo Mix was the first on the list and it worked. However, had I not received two different suggestions for settings, I don't think I would have tried this route.
Thanks for your help,

The setting you use, depends on how you have the audio patch cord plugged in.

You have to use that setting for the audigy (2) sound card.
