36 Menu Button Limit w/RC5

I I compiled a DVD with 39 short movie clips totaling 4.09GB and made a menu with a button for each plus a Play All (made last). Using WinDVD6 I found that it woiuld not recognize anything past the 36th button as a link although I could play the last four clips manually. By authoring another compilation with the first 35 assets (3.36GB) and adding a Play All button, everything played just fine.

Was this intentional?

Also, will the final release accept .bin as assets as version 1.15 did?

bins are accepted as assets.
