  1. Whats missing is mostly parts of the shooting scene.
I was hoping to release it under partnership

Excuse the banding.. it is reflection on the
scanner - but here was some of the
    proposed artwork.

Could this Canadian seller be selling a genuine 114-minute version of the film???

Sounds fishy to me since the page said it was added to his catalog in 2003. But who knows, maybe he has access to a print that escaped attention.

Interesting shipping policy, too. Just for the heck of it, I clicked on their "Add To Cart" button. This came up:

And then, I clicked on the continue button ... and it told me I had to "register" first.

yea weird -- he has a bunch of out of print stuff listed ..

8 weeks does seem extreme - but you've never dealt with Canada mail, which operates in its own dimension , so its possible

Actually, books I've ordered from Chapters.indigo.ca and Amazon.co.uk sometimes arrive quicker than books I've ordered in the U.S.

In any case, I went to the guy's contact page and sent him an email, simply asking him if the version he was selling was the uncut version. I'll post his reply here if he sends one. But if he answers "yes," my next email will ask him how he was able to add an uncut version of a film to his catalog in 2003 when the negative for it wasn't discovered until 2004? I'm betting the reply to that email will take longer.

BTW, the email form said his name was Gerry Hawke and his mailing address was in Saskatoon. While the address is different, I found it interesting that Saskatoon is also the home of Robert's Hard To Find Videos:

Hmmm ... is Saskatoon the out-of-print capital of Canada or a bootlegger's capital?

not much to do in Saskatoon in the winter - you can drink or sell videos (or become the Guess Who and still drink)
