    Hi!
I have recorded of digital tv a tv show with relativly unused 704x576 anamorphic widescrean format. I was just wondering if anyone has had issues with a dvd player with this resolution?

P.S. It says in the DVD glosary as a standard:
"16:9 Anamorphic (only supported by 720x576)"

    Thankyou

I am fairly positive that 16x9 WS anamorphic video is A-OK at both 704x576 as well as 720x576 (this is PAL format). NTSC is the same way except it is 704x480 and 720x480

Lower resolution though (such as Half D1 resolution which is 352x480 NTSC or 352x576 PAL) does NOT officially support 16x9 WS anamorphic video.
