  1. Hi,
I am an absolute beginner on this, so please excuse my ignorance on this topic:

I have a DVD (my own) which has a bunch of songs.
Here is what I want to do:

    Play the DVD (VOB Files)
When it reaches the song (which I want to clip from the DVD)
Start capturing the song - Start of CLIP
    When the song ends
Stop capturing the song - End of CLIP
Write that CLIP into a VIDEO format
Repeat the process for x numbers of songs
When I am done, create a DVD of all those CLIPS

    Here are my questions:
    A. Is it possible
    B. What software would I need to achieve this
    C. What are going to be the STEPS involved (in the EXACT sequence) to do this
    D. What is the exact technical term for this process? Would this be called VIDEO EDITING?

Thanks in advance for your guidance and advice

  2. DVDShrink->Re-author->Start/End->Back-up.
Put each clip in it's own folder(eg clip1,clip2,etc),then use DVDShrink->Re-author and locate each folder and drag the title over to the left window->Back-up.
Use DVDDecrypter or Nero to burn.
