  1. Is there anyway you can make a custom menu for your VCDs? I want to create a menu kinda like the ones on DVDs where you can click to play the movie, click to see photos, and additional info, etc. I don't need "Jump to Scenes" feature. This sounds complicated. I'd like to have a couple choices that audience can choose. I also would like to use my own background photo and the position of the menu, etc.

I played with Nero's menu function for a bit. It seems to be very limited. You don't get to see your own menu design. You don't know what you are getting.

Is it possible to create a custom menu for a VCD?

    Thanks.

  2. with Nero you can create a menu with still thumbnails. each thumbnail is for a seperate Mpeg file. and, even after you drag and drop your Mpegs, you can select from the clip what you want the picture of the thumbnail to be from that clip and you can preview your menu page to make sure its what you want.....

  3. VCDImager has advanced menu functions--i think it can do what you're looking for. you have to write the the functions in XML, though. not a simple GUI app.

  4. You can make an advance menu for (S)VCD with VCDImager if you know about XML code enough, but you wont be able to use "Click or Highlight" as in DVD menu. VCDImager support only "BSN" meanning you control all funtion with numeric and also by "next" "previous" button.
