I'm trying to convert a DV cam capture to Divx...it's 44 minutes, 720x480....trying to covert to same size, same framerate.

Basically what I get is a 5 minute clip.....super fast....like most of the frames are just dropped.

    The DV file is 9gb

What am I missing, is this a bug with ffmpegX?

  2. Try to enable "Decode with Quicktime", yes it is a known bug of ffmpeg. Using the "Decode with Quicktime" option should fix.

Hmm, I can't even try with the "decode with quicktime" option because I get:

    AppleScript Error
The variable _frameratey is not defined. (-2753)

The source is 29.95, which I left the same for encode.

  4. Try to use NTSC 29.97 from the popup list.
