Best DVD player for the price?

Hey im wanting a DVD player for christmas but i dont want to get an expensive one that a cheaper one is just as good. What is the best low price DVD player? Something nice that playes vcds and dvdr's or something. Help me out

well if you are tight on cash and want a good dvd player that plays vcd's dvd'r and i believe svcd's then your best bet is getting a shihonic dvd player

i bought mine at best buy for around $79 bucks and it plays just about everything

i dont know i got it on a discount and sent in the rebate and i really only paid $59

I dont know if they have that deal know but i really like the quality of my dvd player and the price was cheap.

Thanks, I also heard that the Apex AD1500 was really good. I might go for that one.

The DAEWOO 3000 and 5000 for $99 are THE BEST DVD players PERIOD, but especially for the price. They player absolutely everything and without any hiccups. My Daewoos read VOB files with no problem at all. My Apex and Shinsonic are terrible at reading VOBs. I do like the Shinsonic very much though, I got it for $49 (open box) at best buy. The Shinsonic is very good at everything except reading SVCDs and the VOB files. You cannot go wrong with the Daewoo though, by far my favorite player. You can find them online.
