    I don't know where you're getting those prices, the NEC is a little over $50 at Newegg. The 3500 is an awesome drive.

    and the ritek G05 are rubbish.even ritek/ridisc/ridata know that.the dyes not being used on normal dvds now,only there Xtreme range,when its been tested for quality,etc.there using a CMC dye now.
