I have been using wmrecorder to capture streaming video off various websites. Recently, I subscribed to a site that lets me download videos to my hard drive. The files look just like a regular windows media files, however when I attempt to play one, a username/password request box to the subscription site pops up and I have to enter my password to the subsription site in order the windows media file to play. Is there anyway I can bypass the entire password step? Is there anything I can import the video to and change the format so I can view the video at a later time? I was hoping to be able to keep the videos on my harddrive even after my subscription runs out.
