    i got the program and I added a mpeg file to it and it gave me a video file and an audio file separetely now I need to know how I can encode it together so that I can make a dvd

    You put both into an authoring program and let it do the combining, then your burn that to DVD.

    DVDauthorGUI will do what you want. Then use DVDshrink to turn the authored files into an ISO file ... and use DVDdecrypter to burn the ISO file to a DVD.
