  1. I want to download a bunch of files that are named sequentially. I've been using FlashGet (which is extremely similar to Net Transport listed on this site), which has an extremely helpful referrer URL variable. I've come across some sequential files, mostly vids, that each require a unique referrer URL. Here are two examples:

    FILE: http://www.somepage.com/img.php?p=1
    REFERRER: http://www.somepage.com/view.fil?p=fil1.wmv

    FILE: http://www.somepage.com/img.php?p=247
    REFERRER: http://www.somepage.com/view.fil?p=fil247.wmv

The good news is that the number in the file and the number in the referrer are the only two changing values but they are always equal. Can I use the batch function of either of the two programs listed to "combine" the referrer and file URLs into one, so that I can use the wildcard function twice and download all the files? Or, is there a workaround to getting these files that anyone can help me with?

Any help will be truly appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

  2. In net transport, just right click, and select download all by net transport on the page.

  3. Thanks reboot, but Net Transport then only proceeds to download the one file that's one the page I opened. I tried the "download all" trick on several pages, I even tried the site explorer. Nothing seems to be working yet...

  4. It would help if we had the real URL...
Not trying to bait you into discussing warez or pirating though...

  5. Not much of either (warez or pirating), reboot. Just want the already avaiable to download files on my hard drive (i.e., not to republish). The example I previously gave I modeled after the following URLs:

    FILE: http://www.jackazz.nl/img.php?p=1
    REFERRER: http://www.jackazz.nl/view.ass?p=ass1.jpg

    FILE: http://www.jackazz.nl/img.php?p=247
    REFERRER: http://www.jackazz.nl/view.ass?p=ass247.jpg

Clicking the file URL will probably give a "Don't steal our bandwidth" page whereas clicking on the referrer URL will give a blank page. Any thoughts? Thanks!
