Hello! I bought a Hauppauge wintv PVR 150 card! and want to record from my dvd, and there is only a scart output on my dvd. And the input on my PVR150 is s-video and composit! So I have to buy a cable. What should I use? Scart to s-video and 3.5mm stereo OR Scart to composit and 3.5mm stereo?
My computer!
Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz Prescott
1024Mb RAM
2x120GB HD
Geforce FX 5700 256Mb
Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150
NEC DVD-burner

From my experience it would be safer to go with the Composite as there is no gaurantee that your DVD player will send out a proper S-Video signal.
If I have gone from Scart to S-Video I have only got a black and white picuture.
Again, only in my experience, but I hope that this is helpful.Cole
