I have seen this in the special features of the Jurrassic Park movies, and now I am seeing it in my encodes. It is a red glow around what appears to be high contrast areas of the images. It is not viewable on the PC monitor, so I don't know if it's in my source, but it appears on the TV. The burned DVD played on the PC does not show it either. Source is Laserdisc-composite-ATI-uncompressed AVI. This is my usual flow and I have not seen this before. Encoders are PC 2.0 and the Mainconcept bundled with Vegas 5.0. Both 2 pass 9570-6780. It is not on the Laserdisc when viewed on the TV.
Any thoughts?
