  1. How can I shift the waveform back/forward for a period? for example, I want to shift the audio between 00:01:00:000 and 00:05:00:000 to a new position(e.g. shift forward 10 second), so it can start to play at 00:01:10:000 and end at 00:05:10:000. I cannot find a way to do it in wave editor. Is it possible to realize this function?

    Thanks very much

Audacity's timeshift tool will do it.

you can also create an empty waveform of 10 seconds, and then cut and paste it to the beginning of the wave you want to offset.

Using Nero Wave editor, just select a 10 sec portion of your clip, Edit>copy it, and then paste at the beginning. With this portion still selected, if you then click on Volume on the menu and choose mute, it will give you a blank section.
