    Trying to convert a divx/avi file to vcd. The clip lasts 31 minutes, but TMPGEnc, makes a huge (900mb) file that lasts 1 hour 30 minutes. The last hour, is just a black screen. what have i done wrong? Thanks in advance

    Tmpgenc will have some problems. This time it has too but seems alright. You go to mpeg tool under file.
    Under Cut/join ,choose the mpeg-1 vcd.
    Load the mpeg, click twice on it and mark in ,out.
    Save the mpeg and burn it.
    See if it work on your Dvd alone player.

    You have to rip the audio first with V-DUB, and then use that as audio source in TMPGenc. That works.
    There is a manual to the left under HOW TO.
