  1. I extracted wave from a avi file and would like to increase the volume before i make dvd r..

    How do I do it?

  2. Goldwave will do it. As will as audacity. That's your freeware (or free trial) options.

  3. well when I try and load the wave file in Goldwave it says theres no codec for it.

    when I load the file in audiocity, it loads as a mp3 and when I press the play button, it plays it the entire wave in 1 second.

    Can you please tell me how to increase the volume with audiocity or give me the link on how.

  4. Oh, sorry. I only think of avi in terms of my huffyuv VHS caps. You may have some divx avis or something (something I know nothing about).

  5. How did you extract the WAV?
    Use AVICodec to see the AVI's properties.

  6. ok , i used avicodec and it says its a ac3 dvm.

    now what?

    I want to make a dvd r and increase the volume on the wave (ac3dvm) file first.

    I THOUGHT I HAD EVER CODEC POSSIBLE..lol
