    How much video in GB terms can you fit onto a dvd+rDL before you go over the limit? I know dvd+r is only like 4.3GB but what is it for DL

    DVD-9, holds around 8 540 000 000 bytes and that is 7.95 computer GB. DVD+R supports this format. Also called Single Sided Dual Layered. This media is called DVD+R9, DVD+R DL or 8.5 GB Media.

    well damn....I just made a DL of home movies...came out to 8.45, is there anyway to shrink this without have to re-edit out some stuff?
