  1. I have searched the forums and cannot find anything on this problem, so sorry if this has already been asked.

When using Xpress, if I have a video made up of 2 or 3 files and I want to convert it to one file will converting it from one format to another, I select the tab "output all clips in one file" on the encode page. All the video is fine but when you get into the 2nd or 3rd video the audio is completely gone. Could someone please help explain this or advice a different method of doing this process. Thank you

  2. Convert the files separately.

  3. Then how do you get them as 1 file

  4. Why you need to get them as one file?

  5. So they can be easily converted to a single mpg for dvd authoring

  6. In DVDlab or TMPGEncDVDAuthor you can add several files and they will be authored in one, but they should have equal properties (resolution, audio and so on). Then it is no reason to have one mpg.
If you really cannot live with separate files and these are avi files merge them with VirtualDubMod before conversion
