I have a pioneer dvr-107 in a FW 400 case at work,
and with Buffer Underrun protection on in Toast 6.09,
along with burning data from an INTERNAL drive to it,
yes, it preforms very reliably.
never tried from FW to FW, but I'm [pretty] sure that
would be problematic...."Everyone has to learn, so that they can one day teach."

thanks, i wasn't sure if the bus could support burning at 16x
i had a buffer underun but i was using underrated media and a patched drive.
i just wanted to make sure that the bus could in fact handle a full speed burn.
