  1. hi, i recently created a VCD and and it came out messed up, i used nero to encode and burn the AVI file into a VCD file, and when i played it in my DVD player the i noticed the sound was a minute ahead of the video, and i put the CD back in to my drive and cheacked it with Nero, it created 2 tracks on the CD, the 24minute vid track and a 16min audio track, does anyone know how i can fix up this sound problem, and get the full length of the audio with the video. and the video is supposed to be 24 minutes so no probs their.

Hard to know the reason for this without knowing if the mpeg file you created was bad to start with, if it was good try slowing your burning speed to 8x, I have found this has eleminated sound sync problems the burning process.

  3. i was just wondering, could the problem be in the fact that the sound on the AVI was compressed and nero didnt uncompress it. Because when i used a diffrent conversion program it said i had to uncompress the audio b4 it would convert the video, and nero lacks that option, plus the burning speed on my CDR is 12x max, is that to fast?
