Allright, here's the situation...
REAL MEDIA video file.
Converted to DVD using BOILSOFT RM converter, ver 2.21. (full program)
(yes, it works)
Now the problem:
Audio:Perfect
Video:About 10 X too fast.
The original RM video plays fine, audio/video.
-Unsucessfuly tried this:
open the rm file in rm converter and convert to avi using a lossless codec like pic video (19) or any other lossless compressor
open the avi file in virtualdub (freeware) and make a framerate conversion
( 25fps for PAL and 29,97 for NTSC) and just save the avi again. make sure that you
choose the direct stream copy feature in VD (video tab) otherwise you will have to recompress the video again.
finally encode it to mpeg2 using a high quality encoder like CCE or TMPEGenc
Please help, if possible...
