I must be sounding like a broken record, so last post on the subject I promise...
After the problems caused me by Service Pack 2 (primarily DVD burning), I have uninstalled it. If there are still problems on the same lines, I will do another fresh install and start all over anew; SP2 is never going near my PC again!
However, is there any point in installing SP1 in relation to Video capture or encoding? This machine will hardly ever (if ever) be connected to the internet and will only be for Video or Audio work.
I have SP1 on CD, but is there any gain from it for a Video PC?
Thanks in advance.
