  1. I've converted my AVI to MPG and am ready to burn it as a VCD but it's too big. So I followed the instructs to split it using TMPGEnc which worked EXCEPT now when I try to burn the two halves as a VCD, NERO tells me that the .mpg file is invalid ...
    it say a bunch of things but I think the key phrase is:
    stream encoding which is invalid for a VCD

    When I try to encode the entire .mpg file as a VCD it would work fine (I don't get the error MSG)if I could find a 1.5g CD

    Make sure you choose mpeg-1 vcd instead of the default auto
    before you cut the mpeg. Otherwise it will give you non compliant mpeg.
