I have my ps2 that I want to listen to my music from my cd player while I play it through the same speakers. I've been using two Y-adapters in the inputs of the receiver, making two outputs from each L and R channels, then hooking up my ps2 stereo cables and cd player audio cables into. The problem is that I have to turn the receiver up alot to hear it, b/c the ps2's sound drops far lower than the cd player. Is there a cheap solution to this? My cd player has volume control, and so far I have to turn the sound effects all the way up on my ps2, and turn the music all the way down on the cd player except 1 notch to balance it out.
